Sappho's Social is a gathering for those who identify as any combination of female, femme, butch, gender non-conforming, gender fluid, trans, genderqueer, cis-female, or non-gendered who are either curious if, or quite sure that, they like the romantic or sexy attentions of others with similar identities.

 

Studies of the poet Sappho's orientation remain inconclusive, and that's not surprising, considering heterosexuality is our culture's default. If you identify as bi-curious, or questioning, please be encouraged that Sappho's Social is a place to allow yourself to explore your curiosities and questions about your orientation in a safe and supportive environment with no judgement.

 

We welcome all those of all orientations and those unsure of their orientation. If you are unsure if you will be comfortable, please reach out and we would be happy to help you talk it over and decide.
